FMCSA ISSUES $5833 FINE PER CLEARINGHOUSE VIOLATION
The FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse has begun implementing fines of $5833.00 per violation for companies who are out of compliance with the Clearinghouse regulations.
This includes fines for not having the company properly set up within the Clearinghouse, as well as fines for not running queries at the appropriate times.
As a rule, a minimum of 1 query is required per driver every year for the first 3 years. This number may change if there are any infractions or substance abuse issues.
